When I saw light in the static
A zine I made in two hours for the Electric Zine Maker jam. May or may not be poetry, may or may not be about queer hope.
This zine was made with the Electric Zine Maker by AlienMelon and you can read it here thanks to Jeremy Oduber's EZM reader.
I am aware the zine may be hard to read (like, in a visual way) so here is the text for accessibility purposes:
"I stared at the static / so long / maybe the static stared at me
and I was like / what is this / what's the point
then I saw it
and it was beautiful / half of the static was
pure light."
To describe the images a bit: every page is black and white static with glitchy green and purple text, except the last ("pure light") page which is even more glitchy with rainbow static and white text.
The back cover reads: "a story of hope (if you stare long enough)".
The credits page reads: "Font: Broken 15 by Misprinted Type, CAT DyFa by Peter Wiegel, Linear Beam by Typothetical. TV picture by Robert Anders (CC-BY 2.0 Deed). Made with the Electric Zine Maker."
